Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Monsday September 8:
TwoADay.org bridge actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Wed & Fri 5-5:30pm. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon 6:30-7:30pm, Tue 8-9am, Wed & Fri 3-4pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
TwoADay.org street actions at Thayer & Angell St, Providence: Thu 5:30-6:30pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Thursday 4-5pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
On Saturday 11am-12noon, East Bay Citizens for Peace is holding a vigil in Bristol on Hope St in front of the Bristol Post Office (“We Who Believe in Freedom Cannot Rest! No $ for War Crimes! No Genocide in our names!”)
