Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Monday April 21:
PROTEST JACK REED: Beginning shortly after 5pm Monday at Portsmouth Middle School at 125 Jepson Lane, Portsmouth, there will be a protest with banners against Reed’s votes to join Trump in arming Israel. Reed will be at a town hall meeting with consituents organized by a Newport County civic group, and an alliance of peace groups and individuals will be protesting outside.
TwoADay.org bridge actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tuesday and Thursday 11-11:30am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon 3-4pm, Wed 2-3pm, Tue&Thu 9:15-10:15am, and Fri 3:30-4:30pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Friday 4-5pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
