Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Monday March 3:
TwoADay.org bridge actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tuesday and Thursday 7:30-8am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon 4-5pm, Tue & Thu 8:45-9:45am, and Wed and Fri 2-3pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Tuesday 3-4pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
On Saturday 11am-12noon, East Bay Citizens for Peace is holding a vigil in Bristol on Hope St in front of the Bristol Post Office (“Ceasefires everywhere! No $ for war crimes!”)
After the Sat protest there will be a documentary film showing, Disturbing the Peace, about ex-fighters working for peace in Israel & Palestine – 2pm Saturday at the public library in Bristol. Rogers Free Library (downstairs in the Herreshoff Community Room), 525 Hope St, Bristol RI. Sponsored by East Bay Citizens for Peace and co-sponsored by RI Anti-War Committee, Providence FCNL Advocacy Team and TwoADay.org.
