Here are some actions by the TwoADay Group and others in the week of Monday June 24:
TwoADay Group overpass actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tuesday and Thursday 7:30am to 8:30am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay Group street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon, Wed and Thu 4-5pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
RI Antiwar Coalition vigil at the mall side of the State House: Tuesdays and Fridays 4pm to 5pm. (TwoADay Group members will be joining.)
No Endless War or Excessive Militarism (NEWEM) will be holding a vigil targeting RI’s senators and congressmen (“Renew the ceasefire! Engage in peace work, not warmongering!”) Wednesday 6/26, 4:30-6, in Providence at the corner of Westminster St and Dorrance St close to Sen. Whitehouse’s office,).
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Wednesday 5pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
To support the city of Providence‘s bill to divest from Israel bonds, there will be a rally Saturday 1pm next to Kennedy Plaza (City Hall front steps).
