Here are some actions by the TwoADay Group and others in the week of Monday March 4:
TwoADay Group overpass actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tue and Thu, 7:15am to 8:15am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay Group street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon, Wed and Thu, 3:15pm to at least 4:15pm. RI Antiwar Coalition vigil at the mall side of the State House: Tuesdays and Fridays 3pm to 4pm. (TwoADay Group members will be joining.)
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire Wednesdays 2:30-3:30 in North Kingstown on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
East Bay Citizens for Peace is holding a vigil Saturday 3/9 11am-12noon in Bristol on Hope St in front of the Bristol Post Office (“Ceasefires everywhere! No US tax dollars for war crimes! Humanitarian aid and diplomacy – not war!”).
