Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Monday May 5:
TwoADay.org bridge actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tuesday and Thursday 11-11:30am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon 5:30-6:30pm, Tue&Thu 9:15-10:15am, and Wed&Fri 3:30-4:30pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Wednesday 3-4pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
On Saturday 11am-12noon, East Bay Citizens for Peace is holding a vigil in Bristol on Hope St in front of the Bristol Post Office (“We Who Believe in Freedom Cannot Rest! No $ for War Crimes! “Arise, all women who have hearts!” – Mothers’ Day Proclamation Julia Ward Howe”)
