Here are some actions by the TwoADay Group and others in the week of Monday July 29:
TwoADay Group overpass actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tuesday & Thursday 7:30am to 8:30am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay Group street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon 3-4, Wed and Thu 1-2pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
RI Antiwar Coalition vigil at the mall side of the State House: Tuesdays and Fridays 4pm to 5pm. (TwoADay Group members will be joining.)
No Endless War or Excessive Militarism (NEWEM) will be holding a vigil targeting RI’s senators and congressmen (“Renew the ceasefire! Engage in peace work, not warmongering!”) Wednesday 7/24, 4:30-6, in Westerly at junction of Route 1 and Route 78/Airport Rd (corner of CVS/Stop & Shop plaza).
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Thursday 4:30pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
