Actions Tue 1/6-Saturday 1/10/2026

Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Tuesday January 6:

TwoADay.org street actions at Wayland Ave & Angell St, Providence: Thu 11:00am to at least 11:30. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.

TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Wed 8-8:30am, Fri 1:30-2pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.

In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Thursday 3-4pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).

On Saturday 11am-12noon, East Bay Citizens for Peace is holding a vigil in Bristol on Hope St in front of the Bristol Post Office (“We who believe in freedom cannot rest! Stop ICE abuses! No genocide in our names! No war on our communities! No war on Venezuela!”)

Tuesday at 5:30pm, there will be a candlelight vigil by Indivisible at the State House in Providence, marking five years since the January 6 2021 storming of the Capitol in Washington. The event will also oppose the war with Venezuela.
