Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Monday August 11:
TwoADay.org bridge actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Thu 8-8:30am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon 7:15-8:15pm, Tue 3:30-4:30pm, Wed 8-9am, Thu 9-10am. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
TwoADay.org petitioning at the Armory Park Farmers’ Market in Providence (the park next to Cranston St Armory, on the Parade St side): Thu 6-7pm. We’ll be asking people to sign petitions targeting Rhode Island’s members of Congress.
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Wednesday 4-5pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
