Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Monday June 30:
TwoADay.org bridge actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Mon & Thu 11:45am-12:15pm. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Tue&Wed&Thu 10-11am. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
TwoADay.org street actions in Cranston by Chapel Hill Mall (corner of New London Ave & Sockanosset Cross Road): Mon 10-11am. We’ll be holding signs for drivers to see.
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Thursday 4-5pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
Before the Bristol July 4th parade, East Bay Citizens for Peace will hold a “Dissent is Patriotic” vigil Friday 9-10am in Warren where Route 114 is crossed by the East Bay Bike Path (corner of Main St & Campbell St).
