Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Monday June 9:
TwoADay.org bridge actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tue and Thu 12-12:30pm. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay.org street actions in Cranston by Chapel Hill Mall (corner of New London Ave & Sockanosset Cross Road): Thu 10:30-11:30am. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon 6:15-7:15pm, Tue&Wed&Fri 1:15-2:15pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Wednesday 4-5pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
On Saturday 10-11am, East Bay Citizens for Peace is holding a vigil in Bristol on Hope St in front of the Bristol Post Office (“We Who Believe in Freedom Cannot Rest! No $ for War Crimes!”)
