Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Monday April 14:
PROTEST JACK REED: At 6:15-7:30pm Tuesday at the Jamestown Rec Center on 41 Conanicus Ave, Jamestown, one of Senator Jack Reed’s Jamestown neighbors has organized a protest with banners against Reed’s votes to join Trump in arming Israel. Reed will be attending a meeting organized by the Jamestown Democratic Town Committee and we will be protesting outside.
TwoADay.org bridge actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tuesday and Thursday 8-8:30am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon&Wed 3:30-4:30pm, Tue&Thu 9:15-10:15am, and Fri 2:30-3:30pm. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Thursday 4-5pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
