Here are some actions by TwoADay.org and others in the week of Monday February 3:
ON THURSDAY FEBRUARY 6, please join our protest against President Trump’s Gaza land grab. President Trump wants to have the USA take over Gaza, ignoring the rights of the people who live there. We say no! In Palestine and Israel, whenever one group tries to grab land by force it has always led to devastating suffering, and no one has ever found peace that way.
TwoADay.org bridge actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tuesday and Thursday 7-8am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay.org street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon, Wed & Fri 4-5pm, and Tue 9:45-10:45am. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers on how people can take concrete steps to help.
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire, Wednesday 3:30-4:30pm on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
On Saturday 11am-12noon, East Bay Citizens for Peace is holding a vigil in Bristol on Hope St in front of the Bristol Post Office (“Ceasefires everywhere! No $ for war crimes!”)
