Here are some actions by the TwoADay Group and others in the week of Monday April 1:
On Tuesday, vote “Uncommitted” in the Democratic presidential primary to send a message against the continued bombing and killing in Gaza, supported by the Biden administration with arms deliveries and other assistance.
TwoADay Group overpass actions in Cranston overlooking I-95 (overpass at 1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave, just south of Park Ave): Tue and Thu, 7:15am to 8:15am. We’ll be holding signs and banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay Group street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Mon, Wed, and Thu 4:30-5:30pm. RI Antiwar Committee vigil at the mall side of the State House: Tuesdays and Fridays 4pm to 5pm. (TwoADay Group members will be joining.)
In North Kingstown, a group in the broad TwoADay network will be holding banners for a full ceasefire Wednesdays 2:30-3:30 in North Kingstown on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge).
No Endless War or Excessive Militarism (NEWEM) will be holding a vigil targeting RI’s senators and congressmen (“Renew the ceasefire! Engage in peace work, not warmongering!”) Wed 4/3, 12noon-1:30, in Warwick at the corner of Main Ave & Post Rd near Rep. Magaziner’s office (close to the Greenwood Credit Union). Also Sat 4/6, 12noon-1:30, in Westerly at the corner where Rt. 78/Airport Rd. meets Rt. 1 (close to the CVS/Stop & Shop plaza).
