Here are some actions by the TwoADay Group and others in the week of Tuesday December 26:
TwoADay Group overpass actions at the Cranston I-95 overpass (1 Laurens St between Doric Ave and Wellington Ave): Tue 7:15am to 8:30am, Thu 7:15am to 8:30am. We’ll be holding signs or banners for drivers to see.
TwoADay Group street actions at the Federal Courthouse building opposite Kennedy Plaza (1 Exchange Terrace, Providence): Wed 3:15pm to dark, Thu 3:15pm to dark. We’ll be holding signs and passing out flyers encouraging people to take action. RI Antiwar Coalition vigil at the mall side of the State House: Tuesdays and Fridays 3pm to 4pm. (TwoADay Group members will be joining.)
Thu 12noon: Protest in support of children at DCYF office entrance, Friendship & Richmond St in Providence. Event will have banners (for a ceasefire now in Israel/Palestine and opposing nuclear weapons’ threat to children), and prayer.
TENTATIVE: There are tentative plans for a group in the broad TwoADay network to hold banners for a full ceasefire Wed 2:30-3:30 in North Kingstown on Route 1A (overpass over Route 138 before entrance to Jamestown bridge). Email william3@finewoodcarving.com to confirm if it’s on.
